That is a post for the world to read. That was really a great level set for everyone, Young and old.
My favorite line : "Why are we addicted to what lives outside our home rather than engaged with what lives inside"
It made me think of a favorite night of mine; a night my family just hung out eating, playing pool, ping pong, Karaoke..no one was on their phone just hanging out talking, smiling and laughing...and lots of bad singing..A Pointlessly awesome night.
Thanks Kim for keeping centered on what we need, and letting us know it has been in front of us this whole time
I, too, saw myself in this. A difficult addiction to get control of, for sure. For more than a year now I have abstained from all social media and news of any type on Sunday. Every Sunday. By Monday morning I am desperate to turn on my screen. Prayers first, always, but sometimes hurried by the need to know. Baby steps…. Thanks, Kim, for bringing this into sharper focus.
Love this all about being present and in the moment. That is the real stuff…. Scrolling thru phones to “catch up” creates barriers and disconnection
👍😘 very nice read - let’s work on that together- 😘

Almost everyone I know is guilty of this. I HATE that it rings so true. I’m going to try harder too sis.
It is so hard isn't it!
Thanks for getting it so right. I saw myself in your Ponder and was not happy either. Here's to getting it at least better in 2025!
