What is Ponder This?

An online collection of ponderings from a hopeful soul.

I’m Kim -  the hopeful soul. My hope comes from a life nurtured by faith, guided with a loving hand, and gifted forgiveness. It runs deep. It is optimistic. It is a map I follow through various treks and journeys. It gets me where I need to go. Consequently, my hope is the canvass on which I create my ponders. It is the clay I stretch, mold, and sculpt, forming the base from which my thoughts linger, grow, or go.

I am re-introducing my older self to my younger self, applying lessons learned by my middle self. You may sense that you know me. I could be the person you pass in a grocery aisle, a hallway, cafeteria, office, restaurant, or gym. I could easily be you. I love and long to be loved. I am insecure and yet secure. I am heavy-hearted at times while filled with joy for others. I have days I feel successful and days I do not. I am words on a page that, when pondered, can be your words on the page.

I have a one-eyed dog. A beautiful family. Eyes that view a world through a pondering lens, led by a spiritual thread. I wonder about everyday things in everyday ways and how thoughts can shift, morph, or move from one place to another. Everything is worth a ponder, and a ponder is worth everything.

I am simply - just me.

Ponder This is the ponderings of a hopeful soul. It is a reader-supported publication. To receive new posts and support my work, consider becoming a free or paid subscriber.

Why subscribe?

To keep a writer writing. If you like what you read, your financial support helps keep the fingers typing. But also for - Humor. Hope. Fun. Life. Ponders sprinkled with a touch of God by a hopeful soul.

The world is a mess, and my soul longed to be uplifted and inspired, seeking growth so as to flourish in His light. I am a Christian. I have prayed often for His guidance as to where He wants to lead. This has been in my ear.

So, I’m listening, and I am fully vulnerable. Excited and frightened. Trusting and typing.
