As you read this today, from where I sat yesterday, the world may be different. A deadline was given. It feels ominous, making simple pondering seem childish. So, when you read this, just bow and pray for whatever we learn today.
Call to me and I will answer you, and will tell you great and hidden things that you have not known.
Jeremiah 33:3 (ESV)
My original pondering idea was this poem I wrote on Easter Sunday morning.
Thank you, Father
for this rebirth
for this forgiveness
for your grace.
It came at such a cost,
such a burden
of pain
and humiliation.
You accepted the torment
for us.
Took our sin upon
your shoulders
with unconditional love
erasing it from our past
easing it, here in our present
and forgiving it, as it comes
in our future.
You have risen
and
freed us to live
with you,
among and
near you.
You are risen!
And I am saved.
Thank you, Father.
Pray for all who are fighting, surviving, living, dying. May God hold all souls in the palm of His hand. May his angels rise and surround, protect, and give cover. Be with us all today. And pray.

Rejoice in hope, be patient in tribulation, be constant in prayer.
Romans 12:12 (ESV)
