Start your day off with “Good Morning” by Mandisa. She is one of my favorite Christian artists; we lost her this past weekend. She collaborated with many in the industry; her music was inspiring, fun, and meaningful. Her heart belonged to God, and her soul was filled with his love. I felt both whenever I heard her sing.
I know she’s singing in God’s choir of angels. Prayers up for her family and friends. She will be missed, but we are blessed to have her music forever. Here is her life.
60 DAY RUN
May 1—5:30 a.m., day one of sixty begins. I'll use the daily haiku format, and there might be a surprise here and there, depending on how my mind decides to ponder. Please join us and look for me in your inbox or phone.
Help requested - Substack offers subscribers a "restack with note" feature. If one of my posts speaks to you, I'd love a shout-out via the restack. Here are the details on how to do it.
Substack App—Substack is building a community of readers. If you have not downloaded or read from the app, please consider using it and sharing our community via Notes. Here is a link to the app and information.
What is Notes – It is a Twitter-like comment feed within Substack specifically for readers and writers to share people's work. Read more about Notes here.
PROJECTS
Ponder This - Year One of Pondering - I'm working with Christian Faith Publishing on the publication of my first book. We are in the editing stage, and I hope to have the book available in the Fall.
Novel—I am writing the first draft of my first novel. Will it come to be? Pray for me that it will. I've never ventured into fiction writing, but I am hopeful. The working title is "Woman in the Middle."
Coffee Photo Table Book—As you see in many of my posts, I use photos. My love, Bill, is the family photographer, outside of my occasional iPhone pic. We are in the first draft of our first book, “Quiet Times.”
A few other concepts—I still have a few different ideas, but the three listed above and maintaining Ponder This are my focus. I hope you stick with me and invite others to join us.
One last thing, leading up to May 1, I will restack some of my favorite haiku ponders. Please share with anyone you think would enjoy daily inspiration. We’re building a community together and trying to spread hope, one post at a time.
I appreciate your support! Be safe, be kind, give grace, and pray. The world needs our prayers.

Satisfy us in the morning with your steadfast love, that we may rejoice and be glad all our days. (Psalm 90:14 ESV)
I like the road map, and the anticipation that comes with it!
I am so excited to start all these new things with you!
